Beach Orientation
You will arrive at the beach via a scenic 4x4 ride through the dunes. Once there, a short, informative discussion will cover the layout of the beach and the fishing techniques best suited for this area . If fly fishing or light tackle fishing, walking through sand to prime locations will be involved. While on the beach you should be prepared for Mother Nature. Cold, wet, windy weather is always a possibility on Cape Cod beaches . Proper rain gear and layered under garments are a must. Biting insects can sometimes be present. Bring bug repellent.
Food and Beverage
Soft drinks, coffee and water will be provided for all tours. Snacks will vary based on time of day but generally will be either donuts and bagels or a variety of chips and dip. For tours that include a meal , delicious deli style sandwiches will be passed out. Please let us know of any dietary needs.
Guides
Your guides are very knowledgeable about angling and surf fishing on Cape Cod . They will be available to you every step of the way; giving advice on bait and tackle selection and the best locations to find fish.
Required Documents
No saltwater license is required.
Getting to Provincetown
You can fly into Provincetown Airport. Cape Air offers flights from Boston and New Bedford, MA and Providence RI. Ferries leave from Boston to Provincetown daily. Driving, follow Rt. 6 into Provincetown.
Arrival in Provincetown
While we provide transportation to and from the beach from any Provincetown location, we do not provide transportation to accommodations. If your flight or ferry drop off coincides with your fishing expedition we will gladly pick you up at either the airport or ferry dock.
